To symbolize , since art is so important to him, my mom created an artist's palette and a paintbrush and appliqued it to his square. I think she then embroidered his name and birthdate on the piece, can't remember. Now of course, any quilt square for him would also have a camera! I just wish I was as artistic as your Mom I guess I could have the girls make there own picture of what ever they want to. The only bad thing about this is my middle child always feels left out when she is not included. It is so hard and she knows she is lucky not to have it but she just feels left out.
