Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone is in need of a specialized hospital gown for

their child. I am trying to get my business up and running. A portion

of the cost will go to the Canadian CF Foundation. I made one for Sara

from our group, she was kind of a " guinea pig " so to speak. I am going

to get a seamstress to make a bunch of them for me. Then I plan on

selling them at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. The gown has a Velcro or

snap strip all the way down the arm so it can be easily removed without

unhooking the child's IV. I am in the process of making a web site to

show pictures etc. of them.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Have a great day!

They have hospital gowns already like this here at the University of Iowa. I

don't know about any other place but they have them in Iowa. Deb A

Hi Everyone,

Zach loves his gown. It is Winnie the Pooh. Even though a hospital

might already have similar ones, I really like the idea of Zach

being able to wear something of his own while in the hospital. I

will never forget hearing a little girl screaming in another room

because she didn't want the nurses taking off her clothes and wear a

gown. The nurses couldn't understand " what was wrong with her " . I

had to bite my tongue. A hospital is such a scary place and to have

people sticking you with needles and taking your clothes away can be

just frightening.

Thanks for doing this Cheryl. I can't wait to see the website.
