Guest guest
Hello to Everyone, It has been a few months since I have posted but I actively read the board to keep up with everyone. I am 33 weeks pregnant and currently in the hospital with another flare-up. Since April I have been hospitalized 10 times including this most recent visit. It has been quite a challenge the past few months but with the support of my wonderful husband we are making it. I receive my care at MCV/VCU Hospital in Richmond, VA and they take super care of me and my future bundle of joy. My question goes out to the women who have suffered through pancreatitis and pregnancy. Since I have been pregnant my attacks come every 2 and 1/2 weeks. Before the pregnancy my attacks were every 2 to 3 months. My question is the frequency of attacks after the pregnancy. To those women who have been in my situation....were your attacks less frequent after the baby? Also, were you able to breastfeed with the medications you were prescribed? Most doctors say ok with what I am on with the exception of Zofran. (not enough research on the med and breastfeeding) Thanks for any info given.
