Hey Guys and Gals,

Just a note to let you know how aI am doing.

I am thrilled I am 7 weeks post-op today. I am down as of this

morning 45 lbs. This is an average of 6.4 lbs per week. I don't

think you can beat that. I feel good, I am only eating small amts.

I really don't enjoy meats much. I get my protein mostly from

frozen fruit protein shakes and protein bars. I have never thrown

up. I have had an occasional wave of nausea if I eat too fast or

when trying to eat some meats. Fish taste good to me. I like

fruits and vegs. I do have to work to get in enough fluids. I am

faithful to follow Dr. R's instructions. My blood sugars and

diabetes are normal and I have not taken any blood pressure

medicine since surgery. I am moving around much better and

even with a very bad knee I now can go up and down the stairs

like a normal person. My friends are commenting often about

me loosing wt. They do not know of my surgery. They ask me

how I am doing it? I just say I am eating alot less.

I am going thru clothes and hope I have enough to get me thru

the next months. I can't wait to see where I will be this time next

year.

Good luck to all of you in waiting.

Do not give up, keep fightng, it is worth it.

I ended up self paying and it was the best money I ever spent.

Remember make you decision based on your research not on

what we say. It has to be an informed decision.
