Guest guest
HI, I USE PEDIACARE FOR COUGH AND COLD. FOR EAR INFECTIONS, I USE GARLIC MUELLIN DROPS , THEY CAN BE BOUGHT AT THE HEALTH FOOD STORE, CAN ALSO BE USED FOR SWIMMERS EAR.. ALSO PUT VICKS VAPOR RUB ON THE FEET WITH WARM SOCKS AND ON THE THROAT, CHEST AND A LITTLE ON THE BACK WHEN YOU PUT THE CHILD TO BED. ALSO TRY A HUMIDIFIER THAT USES VICKS , CAN BE BOUGHT AT TARGET OR A VAPORIZER..PLOP UP THE PILLOWS UP HIGH TO HELLP WITH COUGHING. ANOTHER REMEDY FOR THE COUGH THAT;S HOME MADE, IS A LITTLE HONEY WITH LEMON MIXED WITH IT, IT WILL COAT THE CHILD'S THROAT AND KEEP COUGHING UNDER CONTROL..ALSO HELPS WITH PHELGM. Guest guest
Chicken soup.... add pressed garlic to the broth, then strain it out. The world's best cough syrup is just honey and ginger.... 2 Tablespoons of honey 1/4 teaspoon of powdered ginger (the kind you bake with) Mix thoroughly. Give 1/2 teaspoon or more, right off the spoon.... as needed. You can also mix a teaspoon of the mixture into hot water, add fresh lemon juice and you've got a wonderful cold remedy brew to sip. (Make sure you cool it till it's just comfy-warm.) For stuffy noses, I do nasal irrigation with salt water and either a neti pot or a bulb syringe, per these instructions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jala_neti For earaches.... I buy ear drops at the health food store which are an olive oil base, with garlic and mullein. A good colloidal silver is also good: www.asapsolution.com/ Also.... I made a little pillow out of cotton flannel, about 8 " x12 " ... and filled it with about 2 lbs of flax seed (59 cents a lb in bulk bins at a bargain grocery). I put the pillow in the microwave and heat for about a minute or so (every microwave is different, so test it and make sure it's not too warm).... then have my daughter just lay her ear down on that for a while. The radiant heat is very soothing. Patti Sneezing, caughing, sore throat, runny nose Hi, What do you all recmmond for these symptoms and also ear infections?
