Guest guest
Becky, If he can do the yogurt, then you can try this. You said dairy free, but I didn't know if you can do the yogurt or not. This is the skillet pita bread that we love from scdrecipe.com 1 egg 1/3 cup yogurt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. oil(I like olive oil) 1 cup nut flour Combine egg, yogurt, and baking soda. Let sit for a few minutes for baking soda to foam a bit. Add oil and nut flour. Use 2 heaping Tbsp. batter per pita. Fry on hot skillet or griddle just like you would for making pancakes. These are great. You can make something to dip them in, eat them plain, eat them with honey " syrup " , use them as bread for making sandwiches, ect. Meleah Bread for dummies recipe??? this may be a question more appropriate for the scd recipes creators, but I'll try here. Does anyone have a EASY recipe for bread. The one in the BTVC book has DCCC and Gavin can't have casein. I don't have a bread maker and I STINK as a cook- I can mess up any recipe, so it needs to be a Bread for Dummies recipe. Also is there a stage in which bread is appropriate? Thanks Becky SCD 2 months
