Guest guest
That was definently a good clinic visit. No medical problems & the bonus fun thing of seeing an old friend., sure makes for a great day. I am glad that was a nice memory for you all Have super week ahead LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV 's clinic appointment Hi All, Well, yesterday we had 's clinic appointment. It went pretty well. She did not gain any weight but she didn't lose any either. I was very worried since I know that we were not as vigilant about giving her tube feeds as we should be over the holidays. In addition, I noticed another decline in her appetite so the 2 things combined had me worried. Anyway, her lungs are fine, and that is the most important thing. Naturally, told everyone that we saw that " Mommy's having a baby!!! " The best thing about our visit is that we ended up seeing Katelyn, a girl that we had met when was first diagnosed. was only 9 months old at the time and Katelyn was about 12 or so. She was also in the next time was admitted and we ran into her at our next clinic visit (getting the picc line out) We had not seen her in more than 3 !/2 yrs so it was great to see her again. always likes to look at the picture we have of her and Katelyn during that first admission and we had been looking at that picture in the morning before clinic. wanted to ask about her at clinic. So I mentioned to her that we would ask in front of the Resperatory therapist and she said " Katelyn who? " When I said the last name she said " she is here right now, in the room across from you! " What a coincidence! Katelyn has grown up so much that, but for her voice, I am not sure that I would have recognized her!!! She has turned out to be a pretty young lady. Running into her made our clinic visit pretty good and it made pretty happy! Mom of 5 with CF and one on the way
