Sweet Betty, Thanks so much. When I come down for surgery, maybe then we can

meet. How I would love to just hug you!!! If not then, believe this. . .I

will be at a reunion picnic, whenever it is scheduled, in 2001. Y'all

(everyone out there) are my family. Truly. I would love the chance to put

faces with these wonderful names! I live in Philly, Durham is a 6-7 hour

drive, but I am impulsive and crazy-like, and would not think twice about

taking a four-day week end and coming to hang out with the good folks of NC!

I actually love NC. My kids, on our first trip to your state, discovered

" ham biscuits " . For years, that was their request for special breakfasts.

And y'all's BBQ! That is seriously great. Even if I can only have a bite,

I'll be biting into that once more, some day in the future. Til later, thanks

once more, Betty. And take care of yourself. No more scares from you!!!!
