Guest guest
, low BP is actually one of the signs of acute pancreatitis. I'm not sure why, but I do remember reading that. Also, if you are dehydrated, your bp may be low. There have been times that I've been in the ER with an attack and my BP is so low they won't give me pain med til they get it up. They normally run the IV fluids full speed for about 30 minutes and that will at least bring my BP up enough for them to be able to give me pain med. Don't know that I was able to help much, but thought I'd share the little I do know about it. W
Guest guest
, While I was hospitalized with my last acute attack, my BP was at times 85/50 and 80/ 45.....don't know why, or what caused such low numbers. No one else seemed abnormally concerned. I run very low on average anyway, but had never seen it that low before. Sorry this doesn't help much, but I mention it only to reassure you that 's situation doesn't seem that uncommon. If I can find anything more about the reasons for this, I post the information for you and everyone. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
