Hi ,

PR is an autoimmune disease that is characterized by severe, sudden

onset of pain in joints throughout the body, usually the larger

ones. For me, it used to primarily be in my legs and the pain is a

20 on a 10 scale, and can last from a couple of hours to several

weeks. Fortunately for me, my intense pain only lasts hours, but

this time it went into arthritis very quickly. It has to do with the

way that it presents in different joints. It is rare, as is RP. It

is not a common condition, even with arthritis. Hope this helps.
