Guest guest
Heidi I am so glad it went well for you. That thrashing around, wanting to get out of your skin is a horrible feeling and is how I can react to Valium, Toredol and Phenergen if I've been on it more than a couple of times within a few days...ughhhhhhh...and when this happened whilst I was on pain meds, I always asked for phenergen first then my dilaudid, as the dilaudid stopped the effects immediately. I have taken Mepergen for pain/nausea when I went to the ER. The doc gave me a prescription of it when I was borderline level enzymes as to whether to admit me or send me home..the choice was given to me, I took the home treatment, and he gave me the script for Mepergen. I was on the 25/25 though. Yours consists of 50mg Demerol and 25mg Phenergen together..mine was 25mg of both. For an oral pain med, it works well for me for if I don't need to take it often, or my pain isn't a 15/10 as it has felt like most times. What has caused your loss of taste? I thought it was just the tastebuds on one's tongue that let us taste foods. Looks like I'm about to learn something new. Anyway, I am glad you were able to go home, and that the procedure went smoothly for you.
Guest guest
Heidi, I'm glad that your surgery went well (except for your reaction in the recovery room, probably due to a reaction to either pain or one of the meds they gave you). Sorry that you've lost some of your sense of taste. Maybe you'll be lucky and it comes back once you are all healed. I hope all goes well with the denture fittings. I'll be thinking of you and sending you my prayers. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
