Nope, you don't have to be that much overweight, (even tho. I am even more). I

have met some ladies who because of the diabetes was granted approval...

Could I be a candidate?

I have just found Dr. R's website and have just started researching this

procedure. I'm 5'4 1/2 " tall, weight 205 lbs and am 37 years old. I have

been overweight all of my adult life, tried numerous diets with no success

(with the exception of phen phen and it has almost all come back). I have

type II diabetes and take 7 pills a day, however have no other medical

problems or have had any surgeries. Could I be a candidate for this

procedure or do you have to be 100 lbs overweight?

I believe that you may be candidate. You have to be close to the 100lbs.

mark and having the diabetes, too makes you a candidate. (I believe). It's

worth checking into anyways.

Hi Yes I would say you were a candidate if you have a BMI around 35 and

health problems, keep researching and ask or call Dr R's office
