Guest guest
, diabetes can not be diagnosed by the reading of one high blood sugar level. Sugar levels can rise for a lot of reasons, what and when you last ate, stress, and inflammatory changes in the body too. In order to be diagnosed with diabetes there are several more tests that need to be done. It is certainly something you will want to discuss with your doc. The tests are very simple. Now different docs are going to have different interpretations of films and different ways to describe what they see. But it is obvious that you have some damage to the head of your panc. Without and ERCP and or an EUS there is really no other way to actually see what is going on with it. Now do you like the GI you are seeing now? If so then stick with him. Dont tell him about the $$ then he might get nervous that he wont get paid. Just tell him that the previous physician made you feel uncomfortable. Thats all you have to say, nothing else. Its not a lie, you are uncomfortable because you owe him money. They can get all your files and films. $2000 is not that much money, the other guy can deal with you on that later. You need to get better. Good luck, Chrissy
