Guest guest
I have a question concerning pain management. I have had CP for 2 years. I have only taken darvocet up to this point unless I have had to go to the ER and get Demorol and Morphine. They have even given me Versed to help knock me out when it gets really bad. I have recently been diagnosed with a cyst on the head of my pancreas. Before I was diagnosed I knew it was getting worse. The pain is worsening and the naseau. Is this normal? What works for the pain that is not so addictive. I saw someone mentioned the patches. Does that work? Are they addictive? What kind of side effects do you have? I have a VERY high pain tolerance and have been able to tolerate the pain with a half a darvocet at a time. I am afraid of becoming addicted. I also have 2 kids to take care of. However, I realized that if I would have complained about the pain sooner they would have found the cyst sooner!! Dumb me!! I am going to ton to see a doc there. I think I will be seeing Dr. but I am not sure. I am waiting to here from them. How long did it take some of you who have been to them? Did you have to wait long to get in with them? Thanks for any info you can share!!! Angie in SC
