Hi I have 2 w/cf and one of my other 6 kids was seen in clinic just visiting

with her sister we were told she has clubbing (get this she does not have cf and

is not even a carrier) I am not sure the clubbing is as accurate as the doctors

Ya our doctor seems to think my oldest has clubbing too!! She is a terrible

nail biter!! I can't understand how he thinks they look like they are clubbing.

She has a little damage to her lungs about the size of the end of an eraser

on the end of a pencil. I can't image that, that would cause her to have club

Clubbed fingers aren't just related to respiratory issues; it can also be a sign

of liver issues -- even if you don't have CF.

But then again, there are different types of finger shapes: conical, square, and

some people have spatulate finger tips, which sort of

resemble the first stages of clubbed fingers.
