Guest guest
I had another bad attack and decided to try the ER where my gastro. doc works and turns up that my amylase and liver enzymes are up. The hospital is an hour away but we made the trip to actually get some results. I went to the ER here in my town Friday, and they gave me a shot in the butt for pain and sent me home...no blood work, nothing! Needless to say, it sucks! Thank God someone actually took the time to take some blood and trust that I was totally in pain. They got me " comfortable " as far as the pain goes, and sent me home with some Vicodin. They didn't admit me because the doc there said that there wasn't really anything they could do for CP, so here I am at home again. I'm supposed to go back out there and see my gastro as soon as possible. Guess my SOD surgery isn't being quite so effective now. Might end up having to go back out to ton. Y'all please keep me in your prayers. -Kim
Guest guest
Kim, Please don't feel discouraged. Going back to ton may be the best thing for you to do, anyway. At least there they'll understand what's going on and will be prepared to help you. It doesn't sound as though the hospital in your town is ever going to be any good for you, but at least you do have that other one that's not too far away. I'll be praying that things work out for you. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth Bluffton, SC South Carolina State Rep.
