Club Med/Sinus Surgery/ Irrigations

Hi all-

Well we are here at club med- day 3 at MGH and the news is mixed.

The good news is that has had several doses of meropenem

and not had any allergic reactions- yay! We will keep our fingers

crossed as he has had anyphalaxsis to everything else besides Tobra.

We're getting ready to have the sinus surgery tomorrow afternoon. The

bad news is that even though we're in one of the top hospitals in the

country we can't get a simple bottle of hypertonic saline solution to

come up from the pharmacy- they keep sending normal saline bullets or

telling us they have never heard of it! Gee.... I wonder what that

was I was squirting up his nose the last million times we were here???

Gotta go with the flow or I " ll lose it! Please keep in your

positive thoughts tomorrow as we hope for great surgical results.

I am sending all the wonderful vibes & blessing to you for . All

will be fine. I know it isn't fun, but .know your all in my special

thoughts & wishes.

I cant believe they are telling you that in the pharmacy. Maybe a call

to the administrator wouldn't hurt .EVEN if it was the sect. -She will

quietly pass it on & he might just call to them & ask about it, They

HAVE to have that in the formulary , I cant imagine them not.

When was at Children's we finally got the hypertonic solution

2 hours before he went home.

I'll keep in our prayers tomorrow.
