Hi ,

My name is and I am an oldie on here, but haven't been around much lately. I am now trying to do better because I made a promise to a dear friend who is no longer with us and will give input when I think I can help in anyway.

I think it is warranted now. LOL

I just want to make sure you do understand that RP can be very very serious when it affects the throat. Please remember I said "can be".

My Rheumy always tells me with each visit that if I ever have a sore throat or trouble breathing or swallowing to call her ASAP. This does not mean the RP is affecting the throat, but you really need to have your Rheumy and ENT docs check this out so you can eliminate this worry.

It is very important and I can't emphasis this enough.

Please call your doctor as soon as you can to have this evaluated.

Again, it's probably nothing, it is allergy season remember and that can also affect that area, but you have to check it out. Especially involving the throat area.

If you have any more questions, please post them. You have a wealth of knowledge here and we will do anything to help.

Take care,

W.

My question though pertains to my throat, Does RP affect that also? I've noticed that often times when I'm eating, (actually swallowing my food) It is REALLY painful, and it doesnt matter what i'm eating, soup, solids, drinking etc.Any input would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks again! :)
