Goodbye for now...

Hi All..

I would just like to let everyone know that I will be going " no mail " for

a week or so.. I just found out tonight that my brother has past away.. For

those of you who don't know, he was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this

year and unfortunately after many attempts to rid his body of it, it didn't

work.. They believe he died peacefully on sunday night watching tv.. My

family and I are just glad it's over since he's been in terrible pain for

several weeks now with no relief.. We will be going to NJ to my parents

house and I know there is no way I will be able to keep up with all of the

messages.. Once I return home, I will be back on the boards and will let

y'all know how I am.. I love each and every one of you..

I am so sorry about your loss. I understand loss and know what you

are going through.

I don't know if I have shared this but my father died at age 47 and

my mother died at age 50. My little brother was still living at home

when my mom died. I took over as the sister-mom. He was barely 20

when he had his first bought with cancer. It was big cell cancer on

his knee. If you know anything about big cell cancer you know it most

often returns. It has returned. The last time they wanted to take

off his leg. He was horrified. I was not. I explained to him that

I had lost enough and we could go through anything as long as I still

had him. He still has both of his legs but who knows what is to

come. Not one of us is guaranteed to live another day. I think

that's why I am so impatient about getting this surgery as soon as

possible. I want to live each day that I'm given on this earth to the

fullest.

I will keep you in my prayers.

I just want to write to everyone and say that I am dancing tommorrow. I am

leaving for Durham in one hour. I am incredible nervous and excited, but I

have a long drive to think about all of that. Unfortunately I will not be

near a computer for the next 2 weeks. I am going to have to unsubscribe

because usually if I go just 3 days I have about 800 emails. However, when I

do get back on Dec 1. anyone can email me at www.afannasy@.... I

will be more than happy to be a contact for anyone. I will try to post as

often as possible and will check my messages daily after the 1st. Good luck
