Guest guest
Please be patient with me as a ramble! I am not convinced that I have RP and would like everyone's opinion. I read my chart as I requested it from my former rheumy and nowhere is it DEFINITE that I have RP. My bloodwork has always been normal. My chest x-rays showed no active disease. They did show calcified lymph nodes, don't know what that means! My echocardiagram showed slight tricuspid insufficiency. My flow loop studies have shown small airway obstruction, attributed to asthma. I have had a normal MRI of my brain. But no one has been able to explain my throat, nose, and ear pain any other way! I never have any redness or swelling, just pain. My throat was very red and irritated. The GI doctor suggested that I have IBS of the throat. Has anyone else ever heard of this? It sounded very odd to me. Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Kathleen -- confused in Texas
