Guest guest
Jack had a wonderful visit to clinic. Jack is six months and we were told two months ago that he had liver disease. He has been on medication for this since birth. Well this month his liver enzymes are WAY down, even low in the normal range. What a blessing!!! He was born with meconium illeus, so his liver might have just starting working correctly since all of his problems at birth. He also had his first infant PFT yesterday. He has had a cough since birth and his doctor is having a hard time figuring out why. Anyway, his PFT's were outstanding, so there is no mucus build-up in his lungs. He also is not growing any bacteria. Now his doctor think his cough is related to inflammation in his lungs, so we can treat it with steroids. We were really worried about him, with the chronic cough and liver problems, now it is looking like his a lot healthier than we thought!!
