Guest guest
Kim--I have had this pain right at my right hip for a little over a year now, and my GP said it was " bursitis! " It's like right at the hipbone. Do you take anything for yours? I haven't, apart from normal Tylenol right now. Also, re my CP, I've never taken anything strong for the pain as yet (apart from the pain/spasm meds. I had to take when I had the acute attack a few yrs. back). I'll have to ask my GI was to take as it's worsening. I have to be careful, as Advil, etc. gives me pain in my tummy!! Just can't win!! Guest guest
Suzi, I usually have physical therapy for my bursitis. When that doesn't work, I have on occasion had cortizone shots into the bursa. However, you need to know that you can't have too many of these shots because if you have over 5, you risk having your cartilege break down, so it's only used when nothing else works. I can't take anti-inflammatories, which has worked in the past on the bursitis pain, because I'm now on blood thinners. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
