Guest guest
Hi Bobbie: Just be patient and better food will come to you. I felt the same way. It didn't seem that hard to make it through to phase 2 because I was never hungry. But, once I made it to phase two and started with oatmeal, cream of wheat, potatoes etc. then I would start to occasionally feel hungry. I am 4 weeks post op and just stared phase 3 and it feels real good to sit down at the table with some normal foods (just in very small amounts) and try them. I have had very good luck with everything I have tried like salad with ff dressing (I used to hate ff dressing-now it's wonderful to me), salmon, crab, scrambled eggs, real soup (not just broth), chicken, veggies. Just eat slow, chew very well and take small bites. It does not feel good when you take a bite that is too big. Well, good luck, keep the faith and you will get there.
