Sometimes it may be at the discretion of the School Nurse. They are so

technical in NY with the technalities - the admistering and possession of. You

are

NOT allowed to carry said medication but can take it. Does that make sense?

I wonder if any other states have this law?

CYSTIC FIBROSIS (H 4409) -- The Education gave a favorable report to

legislation allowing students with cystic fibrosis to self

administer their enzyme supplements instead of requiring the

assistance of a school nurse or other personnel.

The kids here are allowed to take their enzymes themselves but they need a

letter from a doctor saying they are capable.
