Update

February 11, 2004

Hey ALl

Check out my new website about me personally and the TX processs. There is a

TX Journal & amp;nbsp; that will keep everyone up to date and also on that same

I am not feeling to great...I started running a good fever last night but it

broke this mornign but it started again at 8pm...my lungs are so darn

tight...not sure whats going on. My Heart Rate went up again to around 160 and I

was

really going kinda slow and my Sats were 92 on 5L.

I will have been home from the hospital exactly 2 weeks tomarrow. Jeez, it

seems like forever compaired to my every 4 days this past fall and winter.

SO I am seeing my doc here tomarrow to see whats growing down in my lovely

lungs.

Something isn't right....I feel wheezy and my lungs hurt pretty bad.Thats

after a ton of albuterol. The PT dept is really good about doing my CHEST PT. In

the next room though they were doing a " WELCOME to the PROGRAM " for the new

incoming Intensive rehab class,not the pre/post Lung Transplanters...we start

whenever. The people in there must have been freaking listening to me hack and

huff up goobers.

I did talk to the TX coordinator at Mayo today about the FLuid problems, C02

headaches, and other stuff. The Bi-pap is the only thing for the C)2 and my

doc here will have to try to do something about the fluid. They were shocked

that they don't check my weight daily or at least at D/C b/c I take Lasix and

they should check for Fluid build up. LAst 2 times I came home to almost 25lb

water weight gain and yes it was water..I lived off just oranges remember...lol

Anyways...off I go to check emails....
