Guest guest
Susie, You said something in your post that struck a nerve, it was: >Its good to know that i am not alone. I have felt for the past year that i am in this alone and no one seems to understand. Everyone in my family seems to also believe that its my nerves and that is very dissappointing to me to feel that i dont really have anyones support. < I can't tell you how many times I've heard that on this site. I just wanted to urge you to never to give up on yourself - only you know your own body and what is real and what's imagined. I was fortunate in a sense because I had an acute attack and the pseudocysts were already there and there was never any question as to my diagnosis. So while I personally never had anyone doubting my pancreatitis or trying to tell me it was " all in my head " or it was nerves, or anything else, I know lots of other people have had this problem. You will find plenty of support here for your confusion, and your friends here do understand! I wish I could help you with your gallbladder question, but I really don't know. I still have mine and it's never caused me any problems and no one even talks about it anymore. Most everyone else here has had their's taken out, and found that it was either the gallbladder surgery that brought on the pancreatitis, or the problems were interrelated. I do hope that the question can be resolved for you. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina State Rep. Guest guest
Dear Heidi: I had surgery in Atlanta last year and they found a pseudocyst inside me. the doctor said that it wasnt causing any problems and he said he would touch it. where do they come from??? is that related to the problem???????? I dont think it was the surgery that started it since i started having the attacks long before i ever had my gallbladder removed. they just seemed to get worse and happen more often after i had it removed. thank you again, Susie - south jersey
