Guest guest
There is also a cooked mayo recipe on pecanbread.com Meleah Raw Eggs in Mayo? Anyone else feel weird about using raw eggs in the homemade mayo? I currently make mayo from scratch for my 2yo, but I sub flax seeds soaked in water for the eggs and it works great. But flax seeds aren't legal, so what else can I do? Sharon mom to Nate, 2yo strongly considering SCD

Guest guest
I tried making the raw egg mayo!!Haaaaaa! I cooked it a little too long. The eggs definetely weren't raw anymore. I think it can be done if you are more competent than I am. But I don't like the idea of raw egg very much. Cathy
Guest guest
i've been giving raw egg yolks to my daughter since she was 1, i eat them too. we put them into shakes, used to use them in mayo too. i do choose my eggs very carefully, prefering to buy pastured eggs when available and also only high quality expensive eggs from whole foods, which have the almost-orange colored yolk. once in a while a pale yolk makes its way into the carton, and i just use this one for cooked dishes instead. silvia > Anyone else feel weird about using raw eggs in the homemade mayo?
