Hello, I wanted to know if anyone knows about payment arrangements, does

anyone not have insurance and had to pay cash? If so how much did you have

to pay upfront? Danette VA

I was not self-pay but others who were I believe had to pay in full

to Dr. R and well as DRH or Center.

Danette,

I did not have insurance approval and was a self pay for the procedure.

Here is what I had to do.

1. At least a week before the surgery call Durham Anesthesia and make

payment arrangements. They require a deposit of $900. I got the remainder

of the bill ($80) less than a week later.

2. Sometime before the day you are scheduled, see a financial counselor at

Durham Regional. They require a deposit of $11,000. I have not received a

bill from them yet, so, I don't know if I owe them or if I have a refund

coming.

3. The morning of your clinic (assuming you don't do it ahead of time) make

a payment of $3255 to Dr. R.

Hope this information helps.
