Sandy -- Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm sure you're

absolutely correct on both counts! I always wondered what my dad

was like, but that's all I could do (wonder). I had kind of a

difficult childhood, as when my father passed, my mother had to get

out and work and I was kind of passed around to friends who had time

to watch me after school, etc.. My brother was sent away to a

boarding school (I think they did that more back in the 50s), so we

weren't (and still aren't) really close either. I don't think I

could ever send my child away somewhere, no matter what! I have two

wonderful sons (23 & 25) who are very considerate and try to help

out in any way they can. I have a little high blood pressure and

cholesterol, and heart attacks run in the family, so I really better

start looking out for myself! If I don't, who else will!! Along

with my CP, it's just not fun! Always trying to figure out what

medicines to take when, etc. And then half the time, I can't

remember if I took them or not anymore! Time for a nice vacation!!

How long have you had CP? I'm going on 10 yrs. now.
