This starter has bifidus in it.... all bifidus strains are illegal on SCD.

The only legal strains for starter are:

l.acidophilus, s.thermophilus, l.bulgaricus and l.casei

Goat milk, goat skim milk powder, bacterial cultures: streptococcus

thermophilus, lactobacillus acidophilus, lactobacillus delbrueckil

subsp. bulgaricus and bifidobacterium longuin. These are all live

cultures.
