Ooops Hanger vs. CT #2

Sorry I forget to mention in my first post that we are in Texas the Dallas/Fort

Worth area and are attempting to compare Hanger to CT. Any help would be greatly

appreciated. Thanks.

A simple reply without knowing any details about the Hanger location, is that

you really can't go wrong with CT. If insurance isn't a problem and both

providers are available to you, I would recommend going with CT because they are

experts at what they do. Banding babies is ALL that they do, unlike Hanger and

other providers.

Isn't there also a Star Cranial Center in Dallas? So you may actually have three

options (if all are covered by insurance, that is!).

I have no experience with the Hanger facility in Dallas, but my daughter was

treated at the Cranial Tech there and we had a very positive experience. My one

and only complaint about DOC Bands are how quickly infants outgrow them (I would

have preferred if Lexi could have gotten a little more correction from her one

band - instead, she outgrew it in seven weeks).

Our clinician, , was fantastic, though and I recommend him 100%; the

front desk staff and insurance coordinator were also very pleasant and helpful.

We actually traveled from another state for Lexi's treatment, and they were

always very accommodating when appointment times had to be adjusted due to late

flights, getting lost or getting in early.

Considering she only wore the band for seven weeks, she got pretty good

correction, and we are very happy, overall, with our experience with Cranial

Tech in Dallas.
