---My son was Dx with ADHD andalso we were told he might possible

have tourettes do to his tics. The diet has taken them completely

away. we did a food journal and it ended up being when he ate grain ,

gluten, milk. has tics from a baby they would come and go and

switch to diff ways.

also follows the DAn! protocol and has severe lead posion, the

more we detox him from the diet the better he does.

The diet is a mircle for us.

Terri, I too was looking into this question.

My hubby is on SCD for Crohn's and I had considered going on it for my

TS. I did a search through past postings, looking for 'SCD and

Tourettes.' I contacted several people who responded, but they were

doing so many other therapies that they couldn't say whether SCD

helped or not.

I don't eat SCD, although my diet is highly influenced by my hubby who

eats SCD. I've noticed that when I go long periods of eating similar

to SCD, that my tics subside (although they've never gone away). When

I start eating a lot of junk, my tics and anxieties get noticeably worse.

I haven't been brave enough to jump on the SCD bandwagon yet, although

I may one of these days. Now I'm wondering if I have yeast issues to

contend with as well. Feel free to e-mail me privately if desired.
