Guest guest
Hi! Wow! It has been a busy day. I got a lot accomplished to get ready for my trip to MGB central and it feels good. I packed all my meds, protien, creatine, hibiclens, magazines, labwork and ekg... in addition to the patient manual... into a backpack to take as carry-on luggage. Shoot.. if regular luggage gets misplaced, I still can function if I have the meds. LOL *G* I am self pay. So, I went to the bank and got the checks for Dr. R, Durham Regional Hosp., and Durham Anesthesiology. I even sent off the check to the anesthesiology office. (They require a 900$ deposit from self-pay patients... so if you you are self-pay and your date is soon, you may want to call them soon.) I got to thinking about what I'm NOT going to miss about being 300 pounds. -belly touching the steering wheel -chairs being uncomfortable/painful because they are too narrow -feet feeling like they are going to split because they are so swollen -having to use a motorized cart in stores -not being able to buckle safety belts when riding in the back seat -being asked when the baby is due. (trust me, not a possibility) -reading on a Greyhound ticket, " Overweight adult. " -having to stop 2-3 times for each flight of stairs. I'm sure I'll think of more. LOL Walk in Peace; Jenn in Vancouver, WA Preop 11-1-00 _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. You'll have to keep that damn ticket, Ruq and frame it, to show to your kids one day when they don't believe you were ever over-weight! LOL Trude Re: Getting ready In a message dated 10/24/00 10:58:28 AM Eastern Daylight Time, ChoctawGal@... writes: << -reading on a Greyhound ticket, " Overweight adult.
