Guest guest
>Hi , My son also suffers from insomnia and I would love to know what info you found out about epsom salt baths and insomnia. My DAN practitioner suggested the epsom baths but I don't want to do it if it is going to make him wide awake! Just as an illustration, my son was up from 1am until 6am on Friday night and he is on clonidine patch for sleep! The patch was on its last day of effectiveness but it still should have worked pretty well. Ok, in a nutshell it's this: if a regular Epsom Salt bath is causing insomnia, agitation, etc. then stop for a few days and start up again with just a tiny amount, like maybe a teaspoon and then work up over time to a more normal amount, just like we do with supplements. They have a really good lengthy explanation of this in their files section, but that's the essence of it. Best of luck in dealing with the insomnia. I hope the baths help in the long run. , mom to
