Guest guest
Laurie, WOW! You really went to town for me. Thanks. My FNP says this is just thyroidititis and will disappear in a few months. Take this pill called Provigil and it will give me energy, but cost an arm and a leg! Guess I will just have to be tired alot. I have a standing order to check my thyroid every 2 weeks now, for many months they way she is talking. And she is no longer insisting that I be put on an anti-depressant because a test result ACTUALLY came back stating there was a problem! Thank you for that!!! What concerns me most is the insulin level. I have tested on that HB1AC? test 5.8. A 6.0 means your diabetic or pre diabetic, but my FNP doesn't think that is anything to be concerned about. And now this high insulin level. Does this affect my pancreas meaning it's getting worse or is this the beginning of diabetes OR is this just something with my thyroid? She (the FNP) doesn't know anything about my pancreas problems and I WILL NOT drag myself to the surgery cures everything happy specialist or the the other specialist that says I am cured because I haven't had an attack for 2 1/2 years and my A & L levels are normal. So my problem I suppose. Laurie, are you diabetic? Do you know how to read that insulin test of 40 H with 6-27 being an in range level? Does this mean I have some other auto immune disease BESIDES thyroiditits I should be aware of and bring to her attention? She thought this was just depression. And when my thyroid actually went crazy and stopped working back in March or April of this year, she thought it was only allergies and kept sending me on my way. When my son had 50% occlusion in 1 nasal cavity from cysts she kept insisting that he had allergies and ignored him as well until I got his allergist to do a CT Scan. And once again now, my son MAY have broke or fractured his jaw playing flag football and the real doctor was pist off cause I asked for to be a fit in to be looked at and the real doctor pronounced my son only dislocated WITHOUT an xray because when he tapped on his teeth with a tongue depressor, his teeth didn't hurt. That exam took all of 5 minutes maybe. So tomorrow at the re-check up with the FNP (because my son isn't the real doctors patient he won't see him again) I will insist upon x-rays period! But you get the idea what I am up against here with this doctors office. Thank you again SO MUCH for the research you did do for me.
