My PCP took a look and didn't see anything. She thinks it was from the intubation. It took about 8 weeks for the feeling of a lump to go away. It was never painful, but it was strange. No foods or liquids ever made a difference. Just eat or drink what you want following the manual. Seems it is quite common. There have been many posts on this topic. Sometimes I felt like it might have been a gas bubble, but have faith, it does go away. I was told that it was because of the tube the put down your throat to keep a clear airway during the surgery. It cleared up for me within a few days. Best wishes on your successful journey!
