I am glad the group is helpful. Sorry your son was so sick. I hope he has a speedy recovery. Please keep us updated on how he is doing.

THANKFUL...

After my son was born, I had noticed his head shape was a little different. Being a first time young mom, i assumed it was "cone head" and that it would go away. When he was two months old, I asked our pediatrician and he told me it was normal and that it would go away. In my gut I thought that something about it wasnt right but trusted his doctor. After battling what i thought was just a cold for almost a month I decided that I would take him for a second opinion about this "cold". When we saw his new doctor she inspected him from head to toe... something our old ped never did. And she asked me to sit down. She proceded to tell me that along with a SEVERE lung infection, he had and ear infection and throat infection at only 5 months old... By the way the this is the same day that i took him to his original pediatrician! She also told me that he had a severe case of tortacolis and plagiocephaly. After being overwhelmed and researching what my options, i found this site. I just wanted to say thanks. thank you for giving us hope and information to help care for our precious children. I am so thankfull for being able to look to others for advice and support! thank you.
