Psuedo Tumor Cerebri

Hello again everyone,

And yes, I have ANOTHER question. Were any of you post-ops diagnosed

with Psuedo Tumor Cerebri? And, have you had any recurrences since

your surgery or have you found that the weight loss has eliminated

all symptoms?

I have had at least four severe episodes; each resluting in a lumbar

puncture (spinal tap), and am hoping that MGB will prevent future

recurrences.

On a separate note, I have heard a great deal about the financial

arrangements and have a question. I plan to move forward as a self-

pay patient and was thinking that if I charge it all (then

immediately pay off the credit card) I could earn some serious

airline mileage. But, I am not clear if Dr. Rutledge's portion of the

bill needs to be paid by certified check in order to receive the

discount or if I can also get the discount with credit card payment.

Any info would be appreciated.
