Well said Blair..

I wanted to say it also and could not have said it better. I was amazed that

folks would have the audacity, the unmitigated gall, to criticize the doctor

on his own list! Its is very evident that he reads some of the posts. I

want to second Blair's warning to keep your comments to yourself.

from calling him names on the list, even if you're angry, because he

crazy

and I'm exercising every day. And I could not have picked another surgeon.

He was the only surgeon for me.

Here endeth the lesson.

Blair, I could not agree with your posting more.

If you cannot follow the rules before surgery, then why should he risk you!

He has more than enough people who want him, a candidate should appeal to his

sense of how proud he will be when you return to a wonderful, productive life.

If you bug him like crazy before surgery, why should he want to hear about

every gripe that you have after.

This is serious business. People who are after a quick fix should make other

arrangements. This is a life style change. Yesterday, at day 21 I went thru

the grocery store and put anything in my cart that I thought might taste

good. The cart got about half full and my husband asked why I bought such

strange stuff. Trial and error!!! Crab spead on crackers great, cranberry

salad metallic. This is not a Dr. R. problem, just my new life. I have lost

over 15 pounds at day 22 and I cannot say enough about the surgery or Dr. R's

process.

THE PROCESS IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE PRODUCT!

wonderfully done Blair, couldn't have said it better myself. I know some

people do not like the good doctor's choices, but he is the 'captain of his

(OR) ship' and has made descisions that are his right to make. period. He's a

very smart cookie that one!
