Can anyone suggest web sites on pancreatitis to me? - ones

that a lay person can understand? I am really trying to learn

more about my illness...

My ERCP went well this time, and I went home from the hospital the

next day, but once I got home I was in significant pain for about a

week solid. I probably shouldn't have gone home from the hospital

when I did. They are scheduling another ERCP to put in another

stent - a longer one.

I've been out of work for about 2 1/2 years. I have a job interview

on January 7th. I'm concerned about whether I'll be able to be

employed - looks like right away I'll have another ERCP and then some

time to recover, and then in 6 weeks another ERCP for another stent -

and then time to recover, but I don't plan on telling them this in a

job interview (but once I get an offer) it's just all happening at

a really bad time. Honestly, I have been in so much pain that I

haven't been able to work for some time, but I still need to provide

for my family and I don't quite know what to do.

Can anyone tell me why I can't tolerate protein. I told my GI

Doctor's staff, and they said " You're one of THOSE " and that's all

they said about it. I tried asking Dr. Catalano about it and I

didn't get a reply about that. (He's always in a hurry)... But I

like him and I think he's an excellent doctor.

I really could use some ideas about vitamins/nutrition.

I'm honestly quite confused about this whole thing, I don't know why

I have been going through this and everything. But, this has been

an incredible amount of suffering, and I really don't want the pain

to continue. I want to know what I need to do for the pain to stop.

Please pray for healing for my pancreas -thank you so much.

Thanks so much for everything yall have done for me.

Rick
