Guest guest
I assume you mean compressor ... the machine that breaks up the liquid in a nebulizer. We use Duraneb 3000 from PARI in the car and many other places. It works on battery ANYWHERE or plugged into a power source (old-fashioned cigarette lighter) in a car or on regular household current. Battery is slower than being plugged into a power source and gets even slower as the battery ages .... needs replacing after a couple of years. Using it in the car or plugged into household current recharges the compressor for battery use. It has been okay for my son (and he uses it to inhale Tobramycin) but for his next one we will look into some of the new ones that are smaller. Still waiting for some list members to try the new ones and comment. M Compressors/ Nebulizers > Does anyone know anything about the nebulizers you can use in your car? What is a good one? Can you use TOBI with them?
Guest guest
Hi Peggy, We used to have a duraneb 3000 (made by Pari) and it worked great in the car, it is fine for all meds including Tobi and Pulmozyme. I wish I knew what happened to ours. I think we may have left it in a motel room or something. We seem to have lost it but I don't remember when or where. good luck M
