Guest guest
I bet in comes through as Becky or " laytonandgavin " . I am not doing anything different, so i am not sure why it would do so. As far as what he is eating.... Since last friday, his diet has been pretty bland- chicken nuggets with mayo, pear or apple sauce and butternut fries. One day I put a small amout of spinach in his chicken nuggets ( i was having lack of veg. issues) Yesterday I gave him some steamed pineapple and we made homemade waffles with almond flour (he was sooooooo excited). Oh yeah last night I made pizza crust with the almond flour and homemade pizza sauce. I am curious to see what his pooh looks like today. Yesterday we had the best day in a long time with regard to behavior - not one fit, not even a foot stomp. I think his tantrums are somewhat related to being hungry. Maybe the food change kept him satisfied yesterday. Still seeing the spinning though. We'll see. Becky robin wrote: Becky, Your email address is coming through as two different names. Sometimes it comes through as Becky, and sometimes it comes through as another one, but I can't remember exactly what now. Anyway, what are you feeding G right now? Meleah Re: attention patti Patti, I am only using one email address on the list. I have emailed others off list. but only one here. thanks for the tips, it is hard when I have DAN docs telling me the only thing to kill a bacteria my kid has is an illegal product that is counter productive to healing his gut. I don't know what is going on with him. And since we are screwing up so much, I'll never know. He has been very compliant today....the first in about 2 weeks. Yeah for my sanity. I agree with Meleah that all the poop changes.... different colors and textures.... along with the other symptoms, sure sounds like classic die-off. Of course, the kids have a way of coming down with viral stuff, which gets all mixed up with die-off at times. I don't think there is any way to tell you how long this round of die-off might last. It might be different for someone who had been absolutely 100% strictly SCD compliant.... and someone who has just removed an illegal probiotic. It's really hard to know if it's just a " 3 month " die-off.... or one triggered by removing/replacing the probiotic. I'm hoping it will only be a week or so. Guest guest
Don't give so many new foods so close together though. You need to give two to three days between new foods. I would definitely get some more spinach in him if he seemed to tolerate that well. That's a great source of many vitamins. Pineapple would be a bit more advanced even if cooked. I'd stick with peaches, apricots, pears, apples, ect. I don't know that you can find frozen apricots, but frozen peaches are easily accessible at any grocery store. Just steam, bake, or poach those. Was the pineapple fresh, frozen, or canned? Meleah Re: attention patti Patti, I am only using one email address on the list.
