Guest guest
Well, I'm home safe and sound. They took blood tests and urine tests and they have already called me back with the results. LOL My white blood count is really high ( probably due to the pred) my thyroid is baseline low but okay, my postassium is perfect and I'm not anemic anymore. Just a little bit dehydrated. Can't get better than that on paper. I feel pretty much like cRaP today. Still have big ankles. LOL Dr. says it must be the pred. Gave me two more heart pills, (zestril and toporal) I was on them both before the surgery. They will slow my heart down and bring my BP down. Was asked if I took Imuran because taking Zestril and Imuan together can cause severe anemia. ( Glenda be sure to have this checked out! ) I get to go back to see him the end of the month so I have one more visit with him and then the next day with the pulmonologist. My INR for the coumadin was WAY low, so I have to go have it retested this week. I slept all the way home, this is a new thing for me. I NEVER do this. I am still having bladder problems and will call the urologist tomorrow. Other than that I'm really glad to be home and I will try to catch up on mail tomorrow. Going to go to bed early.. Will talk to you all tomorrow. hugs
Guest guest
, I'm so glad that you are back. Now go rest lol Sounds like you had a busy day. When you see your Urologist, please ask him about the inflammation in your bladder and see if he can maybe cauterize it away. Were you ever dialated?? You hang in there and know that you are in my thoughts. Hugs, Sharon

I went to see the cardiologist on Tuesday afternoon only to be told I had to do one more test before he would approve me for surgery. I was able to have the test on Wednesday (a heart catherization). And GUESS WHAT? My heart is just fine. Can we say " I TOLD YOU SO " . Seriously though, we are trying to get the surgery rescheduled for Wednesday February 4th. I'll ya'll know when I know for sure. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas That's great news Lori! LOL for telling him so! Will your doctor really get you in that quickly? That's great if he can do it!! All positive thoughts and prayers were certainly answered. The surgery took less time then expected. Guest guest
Congrats Lori on your revision surgery. Glad to hear that it went well even with the additional day in the hospital. I was never clear though on if you revised the same surgery (another SVBG) or went to a different surgery altogether? Anyway, glad to hear that all went well and you are one the mend :-) ~Kricket > I am officially home and doing well. I probably won't be on the > computer much accept to read emails. Guest guest
I kept the same surgery. It was not an easy decision to make but I feel it was the best decision for me.
