Guest guest
Hi Chrissy! How are you? Waiting and waiting of course. Our thoughts are with you. Sue's surgery is actually next Thursday. She has to fit in with a very busy schedule, I suppose. Hopefully no emergency will arise on Wednesday or Thursday which needs the ICU bed more urgently. That does sometimes happen here. I saw her this evening. We had a really nice chat....well, I enjoyed it anyway! She's in quite good spirits. Obviously it isn't easy because she's a fair way from home so family visiting isn't easy. NO. NO ERCP DATE YET!!! Nobody has ever made a connection between CP and my sore feet.....which doesn't mean there isn't a connection, of course! I think I have metatarsalgia caused by fallen arches, chronic neuroma and also some arthritis. The doctor mentioned the first and the last, and the chriropodist mentioned the middle thing. The arch supports worn with boring and sensible shoes are really helping. I couldn't manage without them.High heels are a definite no-no except for evenings and then only if I'm ferried from door to door! I used to run around school in them with no probs! I used to look at the sort of sensible shoes I'm now wearing and wonder who on earth would wear shoes like that!!!!! I've bought more trouser suits for school as the sensible footwear looks better with trousers than skirts! I'm supposed to be walking tomorrow in the Derbyshire area, if I'm well enough. Going with friends. It will be a good test of my feet arrangements as these friends are much keener country walkers than we are and will push us to a longer ramble that our normal four or five miles! We're going to see " Twelfth Night " in the evening. My panc isn't too bad but doesn't let me forget him, by any means. (I know he's male because he causes so much trouble! Sorry guys! Only a joke!) Let me know how you are. With my love, Fliss (UK)
