Guest guest
Help!!! I hope one of you guys can help me. I got my letter for my insurance company from Dr. R today. But, I just decided to change insurance companies, but it won't go into effect until January. A post-op I work with was already denied under our plan with UnitedHealthcare. Our company also offers Cigna, and they will cover if I can prove medical necessity. So...my problem is...do I wait to turn in my packet to DR R until January... or do I go ahead and do it now... then send out the letter to my insurance company... Will Dr. R's office hold on to my packet for that long?? Has anyone run into this.... help!!! I hate having to wait until January...but if there's a chance that they might approve it, I'll wait... plus by then I can have saved at least half of the cost... and would only have to get a loan on the rest if they don't.... anyone have any thoughts out there thanks in advance Fay.
