I was just saying that to get a rise out of Miss Trude. She and I love to

prod and tease each other.) Actually, I printed out your suggestion, and

filed it neatly in my " post-op wisdom " section of a 3-ring binder I'm filling

up with just MGB information!!! I figure I'll take the binder with me, and

re-read the wonderful and helpful notes from the post-ops when I finally,

proudly, and loudly join their ranks!!! Which, I hope, will be soon. I

We are definitely on the same wave length. I too have a 3 ring binder filled

with all of my MGB information and the wonderful emails everyone has sent to

me. I know this notebook will help me through my transition period once I

cross over to the other side on November 8th. Of course, I will have to

remember to spit lady like after taking the Carafate!!! LOL

Dear Christy,

Well. Seeing as how you're crossing over ahead of me, you let me know if the

notebook helps, as well as every other little thing. You will be in my heart

that day, believe it, and I will be sending you positive energy all day long.

There's no way that anything can go wrong under that influence!!! You may

be with my Trude; she's trying for an early November date. My PCP is causing

a delay for me, which is making me crazy. I have everything ready,

everything, except her stuff, and I think she's getting cold feet or

something. I have told her I don't want or need her endorsement (at this

point, I know so much more than she does) but just her after-care. She needs

to talk to me, " to be sure you understand what you're doing " . So, I have an

appt. with her this Wednesday. She better have all my stuff ready. I'd hate

to have to go looking for another doc at this juncture! I told her, this

time next year, she's going to be recommending it to all of her qualifying

patients!! Why can't people get it? I'm fat, not stupid! My brain works.

I know what I'm doing. I know better than she does what the risks are, etc.

Way better! Sheesh! She's this tall and willowy, 40 something, cutie, never

had an excess pound in her life. I could write a book! Anyway, Christy, I

ramble on. Forgive me. Take care, be well, and show us all how to dance on
