Flaring!!!!

Hi Group,

Im flaring again. Makes me so mad, was in sleeping mode since Feb.

Problem I have is my Rhumey is on Vac and wont be back till Monday so I just took it among myself to start taking 10 mgs of Preds. Started it on Thursday and seems to be getting WORSE.

Im hoping it will get better today.

Called my Family Dr and he didnt want to suggest what dosage to take as he wasnt the one that perscribed it!!!!!!!!!

I said, FINE, ILL START TAKING 100 MGS....... He said NO NO NO, Start out with 10mgs. HAHAHAHA

Im just worryed that maybe I should have started out at a higher dose.

Im sure this flare is doing a number on my EAR!!!!!!

What do you guys think. Hate to go up too high at first but heard sometimes its better to start high to get the flare down faster.

Any Info would be appreciated.

Oh Carol I'm so sorry to hear this. You have done so well. Drs. GRRRR!!!

Couldn't you just bean them somethimes?????? I think yesterday was the day

of the dr.....( who wasn't there....mentally or physically).!!

I was told also to start higher and taper down... I always started at 20mg

and worked from there.. Are you in a BAD flare... ? Each of us is

different so I don't know what to tell you. I would think your dr would have

started you on a mederol pak or something. Geez. I'm a lot of help huh? lol

Know you are in my thoughts.... Take care and let us know how you are doing.
