Guest guest
Hi Debi, Almond flour is the easiest nut flour to find. It is also the cheapest to buy. That is why it is the most commonly used flour in SCD recipes. I remember,Elaine telling us that when she baked for Judy, another nut flour was used because it was the cheapest nut at that time. However, many children on the spectrum tolerate other nut flours better. We recommend that parents use pecan, macademia or hazelnut BUTTER in the early days of the diet. Some children need to wait a month or so before having any nut products. mimi > Hey, I'm new on this board. We did gfcf for 1 1/2 yrs with Allie, > thinking of trying SCD now. I have one question.
