Guest guest
Hi Blue, My Mom has the tail bone thing also and they are making a certain kind of thing for her to sit on, I will let you know if it works or not. The other option she has is surgery. The doctor says he has done plenty of them, apparently many people have this tailbone thing. I will let you know what happens with her in the hope that you might find relief. Love, Lu The tailbone thing it makes me sing OOOOOOuch! OOOOOOuch! When it's time to sit and rhyme OOOOOOuch! OOOOOOuch! It ain't no fun sitten on my "bum" OOOOOOuch! OOOOOOuch! The darn thing is sure the pits! I've had it since 1986! OOOOOOUCH! To You ... blue 02© My "tailbone thing" started way back (1986.) It was the first time any doctor wrote "Arthritis" on my medical record. She also had written "Lupus?" I didn't know this until 1995, when I sent for my records for disability. She had never mentioned it to me. She ordered X-rays though. I slid down 3-4 slippery concrete stairs during the rain that summer and broke my toe. Guess we both blamed the fall. It was bad for a long time. The funny thing is now it comes and goes! I made my PCP feel it several months ago. I thought it was a cyst? Was so painful! Like sitting on a golf ball. Now it hasn't bothered me for weeks! I'm thinking maybe some of us were chickens in some far off life and we still struggle with laying eggs!!! Some of us sound as if we could be very good at "hen pecking!" Buck-buck-be-yauk! blue

I've made my own more than once. I've done some looking on the web about it and have info in my computer files. I'm trying not to self dx, however. For now I've put my trust in my docs and God. (not necessarily in that order!)
