Guest guest
That can be a " hot topic " on this board. :-) Many people don't like that they are a multi-level marketing firm. I how ever, don't care. Patti takes them and does well with them and a regimine of magnesium that we have her on. We were able to see results in her coloring, weight, and wellness with in 2-3 weeks. You could always try it yourself and see. They are healthy products and it wouldn't hurt for your child to try them. (no I don't sell them...we get them through a compassionate program) Dawn mom of 4, 8 and under, the youngest wcf mannatech Has anyone read anything about these company and there products with CF? Guest guest
I know several people with CF using the products -- with mixed results. Some have done very well, some do so-so. And yep, like Dawn said it can be a hot topic because of the way Mannatech sells their products. However, if you look beyond *how* the company sells to the real science behind the products, then you'll understand how and why these products " can " work. People are different, therefore no shoe fits everyone's foot. My son took a couple of the products but only for a month. They're very expensive. I believe in the science behind the product, but because their products are food-based, we choose high-volumes of specific foods to achieve a similar outcome claimed by Mannatech's products. Guest guest
You can buy online at http://www.mannatech.com without joining the mlm. There are probably several people on this list who also sell the products. Can Dugan swallow capsules? The Phytaloe product is pretty nasty tasting in powdered form, so capsules would be ideal. My son takes the products, but the only one that I saw really good, immediate results with was the Mannacleanse, and it is a large caplet. I have a cousin with cf who takes the supplements, too, and she gained quite a bit of weight taking Mannacleanse. I haven't noticed any improvement in my son's respiratory health from the products, but I do think his digestion is better when he takes them. Different people see different results. Talk to your son's doctor before starting the supplements, especially the Glycobears, because they contain vitamins that he's probably already getting in ADEKs or other multivitamins that he takes. You don't want to give Glycobears to him if he's also taking ADEKs, he'll be getting duplicate vitamins. Vitamins can be toxic at high levels, so be sure to keep your doctor or nutritionist in the loop about what your child is getting. ~ > I'd like to try the products....can anyone help me. > ...Dugan 4.5 wcf, Dylan 20 mos.wocf
Guest guest
http://www.mannarelief.org Is also another site that you can go to. It is where you can sign your child up for a sponsorship to get the products at reduced cost.
